Well the first month of this little personal challenge of mine is drawing to a close, and I hope you all have been enjoying it. Anyway, todays post is being put up a little early beings I have to leave for work in about an hour and this picture actually got finished sooner then I thought. I guess I’m more productive listening to music then I am watching TV. But anyway, I finished this today, and once I get paid Thursday I’m gonna go a frame shopping.

Better upload this before I forget. This is the continuation of the painting I started yesterday. In all honesty I ended up scraping the first attempt, and this one is coming out much better. And I didn’t even have to use masking fluid this time! I’m probably gonna continue working on this tonight, but I wanted to post something before it got too late.

And now today’s sketch/pic/thing. This is the companion piece to the iris watercolor I did previously. It’s supposed to be tulips, and I know its hard to see but yes there is paint on the paper. I ended up having to use masking fluid on where the leaves and flowers were, and it kinda washed away the lines. That will be fixed tomorrow!

As promised, my make up sketch for yesterday. Couldn’t figure out originally what to draw, so I decided to draw my reaction to how much my federal tax return was gonna be. And for the record, it’s a pleasant surprise, to be sure.

Sorry girls and boys, no sketch today. I took extra hours at work today and I am exhausted, plus I have to get up early tomorrow for work. I do however get off work in the early afternoon, so I will try my best to double post to make up for it. Right now all I wanna do is crawl into bed…
